Education:
Studied jazz composition and piano at Temple University in Philadelphia under Dr. John Valerio and Larry McKenna. He graduated in 1990 with a degree in piano performance.
In 1996 attained a Masters degree in Education from Lasalle University in Philadelphia.
Recordings:
In 1998 recorded “Is You Is” with producer Mike Kwas. This jazz CD features Mark Coleman on piano and vocals, Byron Landham on drums, Mike Boone on bass, John Swana on trumpet, Jeff Lee Johnson and John Sheridan on guitar.
2002 recorded “Mojo” - a solo CD with blues, ragtime and jazz standards.
2005 recorded “Mr. C and John B.” a guitar/piano CD featuring Mark Coleman and guitarist John Bagnato doing vocal renditions of New Orleans and traditional jazz standards.
